Kindle eBook and Custom Print book formatting
This is a family business. We offer formatting on family-friendly books and projects only. No erotic/sexual, excessive swearing, excessive violence, or abusive content--these manuscripts will be turned down regardless if work has already begun. If you have questions about whether your project may fit these categories, please contact me. Any deposits to reserve your formatting time will not be refunded. I work in a family environment and thus reserve the right to turn down any work due to my schedule or the content of your book.
Base price: $75 for one format: either Kindle or Print edition. $125 for both, if paid for at the same time. 30% deposit required to reserve your time slot--refundable only if cancellation notice is received one week prior to your reservation slot. We accept payment via Paypal or check. Final edition copies of your project will be provided to you via email once the balance due is received.
*Base price applies to text manuscripts that have no image files, up to 90,000 words and is submitted to me as a Word document. Includes one custom dingbat for scene breaks. A review of your manuscript will be done prior to locking in price quote. Contact me for quotes on books under 20,000 or over 100,000 words, contain multiple graphics, or require unique formatting specifications. Again: This is a family business--we do not accept manuscripts that are of an inappropriate nature for my family. We will not format anything with pornographic/sexual content or images. I will turn these types of projects away, regardless if work has begun. I do not read that genre, and I do not want this type of content available for my children and other family members to access on my computer.
Your preferences and customization will be handled via email (or phone) correspondence throughout the process. Proof editions will be provided so you can request changes until you are satisfied. Once finalized, limited updates to your file can be made with prior arrangements. Please let me know beforehand if your project is part of a series so that your customization can be saved for future projects.
What you will receive:
Kindle eBook format: You will receive a mobi file ready for upload onto Amazon.
Print format: You will receive a completed PDF file ready to upload onto Createspace or other writing platform. I specialize in the Createspace requirements.
I can also assist you in setting up your books on Amazon or Createspace. Please contact me for more information regarding your project or for other formatting options.
